Kolkatta is the gracious capital city of West Bengal State in India. It is well connected by air, rail and road. The city which is the cultural capital of whole India and the commercial capital of Eastern India. The city was earlier known as Calcutta, being pronounced since the British rule and has changed to Kolkata officially in 2001, has derived the name from Kalikata, which is a village name in the area before the British arrival, means the land of Goddess “Kali”.
Kolkatta is the second largest city of India. It is a cosmopolitan city where people, technology and ideas have blended together with the socio-political culture to give the city a new shape. This conference includes both invited and contributed presentations by experts and eminent personalities who are working on corrosion and its control. The Scholar session will be conducted separately.
A session on “Frontiers in Corrosion Research” will be arranged where new concepts on corrosion science and engineering will be delivered by eminent scholars, scientists and industrialists. The speakers for this session will be selected from the submitted abstracts and NCCI will honour the Speakers.
A new session on anticorrosion products will be arranged. Industries are welcome to present their products in this session. Nominal fee will be collected and the following special privileges will be provided.
